Gingerbread is a comfortable and private haven set amongst a group of split-level properties that are built around a central pool area. Situated on a low cliff, with steps leading down to a lovely white sandy beach, the villa still maintains a level of seclusion with its three-storey construction, private roof top sundeck and its own private plunge pool.
The villa has a great location, with Holetown and Speightstown a short distance away, and a short drive to world-class golf at the Royal Westmoreland, and other activities and a spa at the Sandy Lane Hotel, you will not be stuck for things to do here.

Bedrooms
The three bedrooms are all air conditioned for your comfort, and all feature en-suite facilities.
The master bedroom is located on the upper floor and features a lovely sitting area out on the terrace with views out over the Caribbean Sea. There is a king size bed and an indoor/outdoor shower in the en-suite.
Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and those staying here can admire the gorgeous garden views and feel the cool breezes flowing through the room. The en-suite has shower only. The third bedroom downstairs has a king size bed and wonderful views out over the ocean, the en-suite has a shower.
Communal Areas
The unique layout of this villa means the rooms are split ingeniously amongst the floors. The entrance, living and dining rooms and the dining terrace are on the main level and offer glorious sea views. From the main sun deck the steps lead down to a secluded beach at the front of Merlin Bay – the sea is perfect for a morning swim or a spot of snorkelling.
The private plunge pool is a generous 10ft x 11ft 6in, and 4ft deep; while the main resort pool is 70ft x 30ft, and 4-7ft in depth.
Staff
The staff at Gingerbread comprises of a cook and maid/laundress. There are also two security guards on the premises at night. The cook can prepare three meals a day.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.
The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
