Overview of Go Easy
Situated in the exclusive gated community of the Sugar Hill Estate, Go Easy is a stunning 6-bedroom villa. It is nestled in 1.5 acres of landscaped and manicured gardens. The property comprises a main house and a guest cottage. Both offer breathtaking views over the tropical surroundings, with the west coast of Barbados and the Caribbean Sea beckoning. A lovely colonial exterior facade envelops modern and clean interiors. Whitewashed stone walls and charming shuttered windows, and a lovely pool and separate Jacuzzi graces the grounds. There’s plenty room to lounge and relax between taking cooling dips in the pool.
A number of resort amenities are available to you, including a clubhouse, restaurant, two shared swimming pools and four tennis courts – as well as your own private court at the property. There is also a shared gym available for your use and the security on the gate are on patrol 24 hours a day.
Go Easy is a stunning example of luxury Caribbean living, and any day you want to you can swap the pool for the beach as you have full access of the Sugar Hill beach facilities at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel.
Bedrooms
There are four spacious bedrooms in the main house, all with air conditioning, private balconies and cool marble en-suite bathrooms. Those who prefer the natural cooling trade winds will discover that the bedrooms perfectly exploit the flow of sea air. These four main bedrooms all have king size beds and 3 are four-poster. They also all have a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a dressing room with safe. The fourth bedroom also has a day bed for your use.
The villa includes a separate guest cottage, which renters can lease along with the main house to obtain additional accommodation. There are two double/twin bedrooms in the cottage with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. These rooms share a kitchen and a shaded patio area right by the swimming pool.
All rooms feature fine Egyptian linen, towels and bathrobes. The en-suites either have a bath and shower (master and bedrooms 2, 3 and 5) or just a shower (bedrooms 4 and 6).
Communal Areas
A grand sweeping staircase and sculptured iron chandelier form a fitting welcome to Go Easy. The ground floor is home to the Great Room, stocked with books and games, a family room with individual air conditioning, an outdoor dining room and spacious covered patio area leading out onto the pool area. One of the bedrooms is also on the ground floor with its own private terrace.
Go Easy boasts a generous sized infinity edge style pool, separate Jacuzzi and pool pavilion which has a wet bar and built in BBQ – great for evening drinks and casual grilled dinners by the pool. Nearby is the villa’s own private tennis court – the only villa in the Sugar Hill community with one.
You can host formal dinners on the outdoor patio’s 14-seat marble table, enjoying cooling breezes, fans, and the soothing sound of trickling water from a stream flowing under a wooden bridge throughout the property. At night the area comes alive with candles and the glow of the stars overhead.
The family room is a great place to escape the midday sun and provides a wealth of entertainment options for you to enjoy in comfort, or you can keep an eye on the children playing while the adults finish off their evening meal on the adjacent dining patio.
Staff
The villa staff endeavours to keep everything in order and the property spotless. They service and clean the bedrooms and bathrooms and launder anything as requested. You can hire additional staff if needed.
A house manager, housekeeper and cook service is provided if only the main house is booked out, with 2 consecutive meals being prepared a day by the cook – breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner. Additional staff are available with full bookings: a butler service, additional chef preparing 3 meals a day and a maid/laundress service.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.
The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night.
