Though, as of recent, the new Prime Minister of Barbados has imposed a levy on accommodation, to be paid at the time of staying at the resort which needs to be taken into consideration when planning a holiday. Such that we want to make you fully aware of it so you can account for these additional costs from the Barbados Government.

The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
