Overview of Jamoon

Jamoon is a charming two-story home set in landscaped gardens within the Sandy Lane Estate on the West Coast. It is conveniently located a short distance to duty-free shopping. The beautifully finished, 7-bed villa is also close to pristine beaches and an array of dining options.

From the main double doors, guests already feel welcome in the reception area with a fishtail palm tree as the centerpiece. On the left are a powder room and a pantry with party appeal – complete with wine cooler, mini fridge, storage for snacks and icemaker.

Ahead is the open-plan living room, featuring dramatic, high ceilings accentuated by a skylight and a view of the pool. This space is designed with entertaining in mind. It has plenty of comfortable seating areas, a grand, antique dining table, as well as a baby grand piano. The terrace with tranquil garden views and the pool deck features even more comfortable seating and lounge chairs.

Immediately outside of the well-equipped, Scandinavian-designed kitchen is casual outdoor dining set up on the wide, covered terrace. This is usually the spot for a leisurely breakfast or lunch prepared just how you want it. A full complement of guests can expect gourmet meals to grace the table utilising choice local fare whipped up by the amazing in-house chef. You’ll be tempted to dine in the whole time!

To the left just off the living room over mini wooden bridges, is an inviting pool with deck and a water volleyball and badminton court as well as floating loungers. Whimsical tropical paintings of flora and fauna on the exterior walls can be appreciated while drifting on an inflated chair in the pool. A TV room for 8, equipped study, 2 iPod docks and WiFi throughout the house offer options for play and remaining connected.

Rooms:

The bedrooms spread throughout the home on both levels, have ceiling fans and air conditioning. Two master suites, one on each floor, have en suites, walk-in closets, and French doors. These doors lead to a private terrace. Other bedrooms feature dressing rooms and French doors opening to a patio, garden, or pool deck for outdoor enjoyment. The guest wing known as ‘The Cottage’ to the left of the foyer. It has its own access to the pool area and to the main gate. The 2 bedrooms here sharing an interconnected bathroom, is just the place for a family with small children.
